Professor Mayumi Ilari teaches at University of São Paulo’s Modern Languages Department since 2009, in the Linguistic and Literary Studies in English Area, and researches British and American drama in the context of modern and contemporary theatres, relating theatre, history and dramatic forms. She also researches political theatre, experimental and collective theatre and puppetry, among other modern and contemporary forms.
